Who's in charge around here?? Doggy Power!!

Me and Jeremy are like old people already, We do the same thing every night before bed. We get in our jammies, shower, brush teeth and get ready for bed, then we hop in a snuggle in. Then is the compromise part. Jeremy likes to sleep with the TV on which I don't mind for awhile because it helps me relax get sleepy and settle in, But after awhile I don't care to hear the TV talking all night while I am trying to sleep. I have a sound machine and I love to play the ocean while I sleep (which Jeremy has learned to like too) But he still wants to fall asleep to TV. So we play the TV and then when he starts to fall asleep I gradually turn the volume down less and less and my sound machine UP....But I do actually like the flash of the TV. Anyways back to my point which is basically the TV stays on all night every night so were all just kinda used to it. Well I'll start by saying this....MY DOG IS SPOILED ROTTEN.....Of course I take FULL responsibly.

I was laying in bed when there it was, the cold nose nudge on my arm from Rocky wanting to go out for his morning bathroom break if you will... This was about 7:15am. So I turned off the TV put on my shoes and jacket then we went out he did his business and then we came in. Of course we got back in bed with Jeremy, hoping I could sleep a little more before starting the day but for some reason rocky would not settle back in, so I thought well what in the world he always lays back down and sleeps. I thought maybe he needed to go back out again so I asked if he needed to go out and he didn't wanna go. So I said well lay down then...But he kept pacing by the bed then he stated whimpering at my nightstand. I had some water by me from the night (always have water by me) so I thought well maybe he needs water in his bowl or he ate all his food in his dish and wants more. So up I went to check the bowls and they were plenty full. I was clueless to what he could want now, He had been out he had food he had water so I didn't know what he needed.I even tried to give him all his toys... I petted his head and talked to him and was asking him what is it boy what do you want? Then he looked at my nightstand looked at me looked at my nightstand looked at me and I was like what what is? I kept picking things up on the nightstand and say this you want this? FINALLY I picked up the remote to the TV and said this ? is this what you want ? and sure enough he started barking like crazy and licked my hand So I turned on the TV and turned on some cartoon and to my surprise he jumped up on the bed layed at my feet and fell asleep. I was just shocked that all of that just to put the TV back on so he could go back to sleep. INSANE DOG... I guess like father like son. Does that apply for animals too?? LOL What a morning Needless to say I was up already for the day. So I just layed there thinking what have a gotten myself into. Cant live with um' and you cant live without um'. Thought I would share my morning!! Have a nice day and love your animals!! They always love you no matter what!!
